Our business supporters

There are lots of ways to support us through your business, including joining our Business Club, making us your charity partner, sponsorship, taking part in a challenge event, or volunteering.

Businesses play a vital role in supporting the Hospice; here are just some of the wonderful businesses that have recently got involved.

New corporate partner PPS set its staff the challenge to complete 10 million steps in March. The company provided the team with pedometers to keep track and the whole team across two sites (York and Keighley) got involved to complete an average of 322,580 steps per day throughout the month.

Valeo Snackfoods is supporting this year’s Jubilee Walk on the 18 June by donating tasty sweet treats for participants, plus have a team of 14 staff taking part.

York Cars & Gladstone Garage are making a donation to the Hospice for every MOT the garage carries out.

Hilton York is supporting the Hospice through hosting events, joining the Business Club and fundraising events throughout the year. Plus supporting the Jubilee Walk on 18 June.

Curious Coffee in Haxby treated its customers on Friday 18 March by not charging them but, instead, asking for donations to St Leonard’s Hospice, raising £1935.22. It has plans to do the same thing at their Easingwold branch in January 2023.

Oak by Design has joined the St Leonard’s Business Club, plus the duo have been fundraising for the Hospice in a range of activities, including a Casino Night, a Coast to Coast Challenge, and more recently a raffle for one of their bespoke oak porches. Jamie and Richard are also taking part in the Way of the Roses challenge next month.

The Ivy York continues to support the Hospice with a team taking part in this year’s Dragon Boat Race on 10 July which celebrates this events 20. The Ivy is also a member of our Business Club and is hosting an event for members in the year ahead.
