We’ve partnered with trusted local solicitors who have generously agreed to donate their time and expertise. In return for this service, we ask that you make a donation to St Leonard’s Hospice to support the care provided in your community.
Having a Will is one of the most important things you can do for the people you love. It gives you peace of mind that your wishes are known and helps ensure those closest to you are taken care of in the future.
Making or updating a Will is not just about money. It’s about everything else that’s important to you too, like deciding who will care for your beloved pet, who inherits your special family heirloom or who receives the treasured collection you’ve spent years building.
54% of adults in the UK die without a Will. We want to help that change.
Step 1: Choose a participating solicitor from the list shown and call or email them to book your free appointment for October (don’t forget to mention you’re taking part in our Make a Will Month).
Step 2: Prepare for your appointment. Visit our website to read our Will Writing Guide or simply ask your solicitor what information you will need to bring.
Step 3: Make your donation to St Leonard’s Hospice by cheque or online. The suggested donation amounts are £110 for a single Will or £195 for a mirror Will, 100% of which will come to the Hospice to support compassionate, dignified care for local people when they need it most.
Step 4: Attend your appointment and let your solicitor guide you through the process. Once complete, you can relax, knowing your wishes are in place and your loved ones are protected.
