Samantha Corduff's Story

I lost my dad to cancer – he put up a damn good fight but sadly lost it. I’m his daughter and had been looking after him at home until we needed better care.

He arrived at the Hospice in a lot of pain but didn’t really moan – such an inspiration. Now I saw in just a week the change in my father, it really made him feel better. I knew I could sleep at night. We were with him when we wanted to be and all the staff were really kind. I knew he was settled. He had been wanting to get home after a long stay to get his medication right and in the end we got there. He absolutely loved the food too – I remember how nice it all looked. He used to watch the squirrels from his window, it was so lovely. I want to thank St Leonard’s.
