Hospice Care Week
Hospice Care Week (7 to 13 October 2024) is a campaign from Hospice UK celebrating the work of hospices all across the UK, which this year highlights the vital role of retail in funding hospice care.
Throughout the week, we will be celebrating the outstanding contribution of our charity shops and fundraisers, that help us raise over £6 million each year that we need to fund vital patient care.
Open afternoon
During Hospice Care Week, we’d like to thank you for your incredible support by inviting you and a guest to join us for tea and cake at our open afternoon.
Join us to meet key Hospice staff, learn about our future plans, and discover how your support is helping us reach more people.
- Date: Thursday 10 October
- Time: drop in any time between 3pm and 7pm
- Venue: Sunflower Centre, St Leonard’s Hospice, Tadcaster Road, YO24 1GL
- Hospice tours will be at: 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm
- There will be a talk by our chief executive, Emma Johnson at both 3.30 and 5.30pm
