York Ramblers.

2021-09-18

Many of our members have been affected by the loss of a loved one cared for by St Leonard's Hospice, and know first hand what an amazing organisation this is to our local community. It has been a particularly tough year for the Hospice due to the Covid pandemic, so although the challenge walk couldn't take place in May last year or this year, it was an ideal achievement by all the events team to make this a September event. For us keen walkers, it was time to take up the challenge again and help raise vital funds.

Story

This year a total of four York Ramblers completed the 20 mile walk in the glorious September sunshine with absolutely stunning views. And it is here we would like to thank all those amazing St Leonard's staff and volunteers for the refreshments, and encouragement along the way. Well done everyone!
