Live for St Leonard's 2022.

Live for St Leonard's is a local music charity event, taking place across eight days, is in aid of St Leonard's Hospice, featuring live performances from musicians based in York and the surrounding area. All the live music events are free to attend, and St Leonard's staff and volunteers will be collecting donations during the performances. Last year’s event raised over £4,500 for the charity which has become the target to beat in 2022.

The event is supported by the York BID and YorkMIX radio. The music acts have been arranged by Chris Bush, Business Manager at the York BID. He said, “The atmosphere at last year’s event was electric and we at the BID are thrilled to be involved again. We’re extremely grateful to all the musicians who give their time to make this event a success. Please don’t miss this opportunity to see some fantastic local acts raise money for a very worthwhile cause.” Emma Johnson, Chief Executive, St Leonard’s Hospice, added: “We’re thrilled to see the return of Live for St Leonard’s. Everyone who attended last year had a fantastic time and raised an amazing amount for the Hospice. We are very much looking forward to this year’s event and definitely hope to raise even more funds to help care for patients, and their families, who are facing living with life-limiting illnesses.”
