Lisa Briggs - The Wall.

3 weeks today I will be taking part in an ultra running event called ‘The Wall’ which is a 70 mile run/jog/walk/crawl from Carlisle to Newcastle within a 26 hour time limit. This is in memory of my dad who lost his life to cancer.

Story

My dad was diagnosed with Cancer and in 2016 St Leonard’s hospice cared for him for the last few weeks of his life. My dad lost his fight on the 29th December 2016 and I cannot thank St Leonards enough for the amazing care they gave to him. In 2017 I completed an Ironman and raised money for the same cause and now I think it’s time I did something else. I understand it’s not the best time to be asking people for money as times are tough but if you would like to donate something this really is to a great cause. Thank you
