Fulford Golf Club raises £10,300 in charity golf day to support local Hospice

Forty-two teams enjoyed an ace day at the Fulford Club with total fundraising from the day hitting the sweet spot of £10,300 for the Hospice. Players enjoyed a coffee and sandwich on arrival, a round of golf and a drink and snack stop. There was even a chance to win £10,000 for a hole-in-one on the 14th hole. The coveted hole-in-one proved elusive but, a great day was had by all who took part.

Annie Keogh, Corporate and Community Fundraiser at St Leonard’s Hospice, said: “The support of the club and Fulford golfers over the last 40 years means so much to us. This continued support helps the Hospice to care for local people, and their families, living with life-limiting and terminal illness. We are very grateful to all who took part in the event.”

Next year’s event is to be held on Friday 12 August 2022.
