40 stories for 40 years

As we celebrate the 40th anniversary of St Leonard’s, we’re excited to share 40 Stories for 40 Years, highlighting all that makes the hospice so special. From the incredible people who make it happen, to the services we provide, the patients and families we support, and the generosity of our supporters and partners, these stories showcase the heart of St Leonard’s.

Each week throughout 2025, we’ll share a new story highlighting the impact of our care. Our first story from Neil is a perfect example of how our services come together to support patients and families. Neil and his family benefited from our In-patient Unit, Carer Support Service, and Wellbeing Hub, demonstrating the power of compassionate, joined-up care.
