Join the Reindeer Rush!

St Leonard’s Hospice has teamed up with Santa this festive season to bring you an excitement-filled fundraising event that you won’t want to miss!

We all know that Santa has his little helpers, and so, just like the big man, St Leonard’s needs a little extra support this year, too! We’re looking for reindeer recruits to walk, run or gallop this winter, so that St Leonard’s can be there to provide care to local families, some of whom may be spending their last Christmas together.

How does it work?

Our Reindeer Rush is a sponsored run or walk for schools and nurseries across our community. You can choose the date, distance and any location available to you, whether that’s a playground, school hall, field or even your local park! Once you’ve decided, we’ll supply you with everything you need to get ready for your big day.

What can we provide?

  • Reindeer antlers for every child
  • A Santa suit for the teacher to keep the little helpers in check
  • Sponsorship forms for the pupils to collect money from family and friends
  • A certificate for each reindeer recruit
  • A visit from the St Leonard’s Hospice Fundraising team to tell the children all about the difference their support will make to the families in our care this Christmas
  • A cheque presentation and visit from our Hospice mascot, Lenny Bear, after your event
