Volunteering Quality Mark attained

There is excellent news from our Volunteer Services Team, who have worked with York CVS and volunteer support staff from around ten local charities to help shape the new Volunteering Quality Mark. The scheme highlights high quality volunteering opportunities in York and recognises organisations that show strong and consistent practice in volunteer recruitment, support, inclusion and management.

We are delighted to share that St Leonard’s has now been accredited with the Quality Mark.

Our team have also joined the panel that reviews and awards applications, offering guidance to other organisations as they strengthen their processes and work towards the Quality Mark. This reflects our commitment to supporting volunteering across the wider community and celebrating the value volunteers bring every day.
