Living With Grief course.

Grieving the loss of a loved one is a profound journey and you do not have to face it alone. We invite you to join our 5 week Living with Grief course, a compassionate and supportive program designed to help you navigate the complexities of grief.

About the course:

Living with Grief is a 5-week education and peer-support course aimed at providing bereaved individuals with the tools to understand and normalise their grief. This course is aimed at people who have been bereaved at least 8 weeks ago and under 12 months. You do not need to have had any prior connection to St Leonard’s to attend.

Through guided sessions and shared experience, participants will:

  • Gain insights into the grieving process.
  • Learn strategies to cope with loss.
  • Connect with others who are experiencing similar journeys.
  • Build a supportive community.

Each session will include expert-led discussions, practical advice, and opportunities for participants to share and reflect in a safe, understanding environment within the group.

When are the next courses:
  • Wednesdays 5, 12, 19, 26 November and 3 December from 10 to 11.30am
  • Wednesdays 4,11 18, 25 February and 4 March from 10 to 11.30am
  • Spaces are limited to ensure a supportive and comfortable environment. We encourage participants to attend all five sessions.
