Announcing our major new Retail Centre at Clifton Moor

We’re excited to announce our new major retail development at Clifton Moor Retail Park in York, opening in June 2026. The new St Leonard’s Hospice Retail Centre on the former B&M site will be a 16,000 sq ft development, including a furniture shop, value shop, and a drive-up donation centre.

James Wainwright, our Director of Income Generation, said:
“This new development takes our retail offering to the next level. Donations couldn’t be easier, with the option to back your car right up to the door, and our value store will provide even more affordable options for local people.

“The larger space also lets us expand our furniture collection service, including house clearances, offering practical support when it’s needed most.”

The new Retail Centre will help us raise more funds to support our care, as well as creating new jobs, and opportunities for volunteers. We can’t wait to welcome customers and supporters to Clifton Moor in June 2026.
