My Mum Ann spent her last week at St.Leonard's in June 2012 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. After having lost my Dad in the January we were desperate for her too spend her last days in a hospice and not a hospital. The staff at the hospice were kind, patient and understanding and helped our family to to accept Mum's wishes and allowed her to have a calm and dignified ending. Mum was free spirited and she was determined to leave on her own terms with plenty of cold Guinness..
