Supporting you... Manage your symptoms and maintain quality of life.

Our care is personal – tailored to the challenges you want to overcome, and the life you want to achieve. Our staff and volunteers work as a team to provide care and support to manage symptoms, maintain dignity, respect independence and enhance quality of life.

Occupational therapy.

Staying active is a huge contributor to reaching your potential, and improving your quality of life. Everything from practical tasks like getting washed and dressed, to the fun and relaxation of a brew and a chat on the garden bench.

Our Occupational Therapists are on hand to help you take the steps you need, with care that’s designed to meet your individual circumstances. Sometimes, even the smallest goals can create the biggest impact. Things like…

Relaxation techniques to help you sleep, for those who have trouble with anxiety or restlessness.

All the equipment and aids you might need to enjoy an active life at the Hospice, whether that’s for washing and dressing, mobility or communication.

Getting out and about with visits and trips. Perhaps to a favourite location, or to try a new craft or activity.

Preparing for going home, when you’re ready. We can visit your home with you, order the equipment you need, and make sure everything’s ready for you when you get there.

Physiotherapy.

Our physiotherapists work with our patients to help identify goals; these may be simple or complex but will always be realistic and achievable and will help make a difference to your quality of life
