Skydiving - In Memory of Dominic Ryan.

Myself and 3 others are going to throw ourselves out of plane to raise lots of money in memory of our dear friend Nick. Myself, team leader lol - Michaela Knight Brent Wilder - a friend of Nicks Daisy - used to work with me and loves the idea of the cuddle bed. Adele- my cousin, sadly has a couple of friends going through cancer.
Story
Why are we doing this? Let's say I am bricking it already, But I think Nick would want us to go way out of our comfort zone to raise as much as we can, he was an adrenaline junky. So that's what we need to experience for him and Louise. Nick was a truly amazing man who loved Louise, his kids, and his family dearly, he always had time for all the neighbours, helping out and having a chat, and giving advice. He loved his Subaru and every morning at 7.30 am he would rev it up before setting off to work and I would say to my hubby "Oh there goes Subaru man" Sadly we don't hear that anymore and I do miss it. It was a shock when we found out about his cancer, but lord he fort till the end, I remember when the ambulance came to take him to the hospice and he shouted "Will someone give me a bloody drink my mouth is like a badgers arse" his sense of humour was with him till the end. We, like his family, want his memory to live on, we could raise money for cancer research or other charitable organisations, but getting the bed (or two) means so many families will benefit and will be able to lay together. Sleep close and hold each other in those final days/weeks and everyone will know that was down to Dominic Ryan and his family. We go to bed at night with our loved ones, kiss, say goodnight, and go to sleep in our own bed in our own home, we take these simple things for granted so we want to make it possible for those who have little time left to do just that.
