Hazel's Head Shave - The Cuddle Bed Project.

I am going to shave my head in April in Memory of my camping friend Dominic Ryan. The money raised will go towards buying a special type of hospital bed called a Cuddle Bed, if this had been available, it would have made a world of difference to Nick and his wife Louise.
Story
Nick was part of my 'camping family'. Over the years the family has grown, it started with my husband, Garrie, and our kids, with his best friend Andrew and then his fiancee Anita and his daughter Scarlett. Garrie has known Andrew Smith and his family most of his life, so before we knew it, Andrew's older sister Michelle and her Partner Andrew Ryan joined the party. It didn't stop there - Andrew then invited his brother Dominic and his wife Louise along to the party, and before we knew it, we had a big camping family. We have enjoyed so many camping trips over the years, every one a story to be told. We have shared meals around the campfire, and had 'speaker wars' he who has the speaker controls the music!!! We have all dipped in the North Sea and shared a hangover or two. We have enjoyed festivals together and camping in friend's fields. His love of the outdoors was evident, even more so the tagine and the biggest jacket potato I have ever seen (we have no idea where he put it it!). We have had cheese festivals, watched football where he invited other campers to join us, and most importantly the occasion beer or even the gin, which there would always be one in the backpack. One of our later trips was along Hadrian's wall, where we saw the great Sycamore Tree, now both are gone. Nick was one of a kind, funny, and outgoing friend I have had the privilege to know... We will miss you so much.
