Elizabeth's Virtual York to London Cycle Ride 's Fundraising Page.
Cycling 200 miles between 23rd March and 17th May 2021. Why 200 miles? That is the distance to London, where my parents live, and I would love to see them in person! I have chosen to cycle between the 23rd March, which is the anniversary of the first coronavirus lockdown, and 17th May, which is the earliest possible date that I could actually go and stay with my parents. Why St Leonard's Hospice? As I work there, I can see first hand the impact the pandemic has had. I am particularly amazed at the work Hospice@Home has been doing to enable patients to stay at home with their loved ones when they are dying.
