Darcey does the Yorkshire 3 Peaks - Cuddle Bed Project.

On the weekend of the 4th May I’ll be climbing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks with a group of our friends! ⛰️⛰️⛰️ There is real a mix of ages & abilities in our group, including Grace (Nick’s daughter) and Eliza who are both younger than me! It’s going to be such a challenge, I’ve never done anything like this but I’m excited & know together we’ll complete it! 🩷
Story
We’re raising money in memory of our family friend Nick (Dominic Ryan) for St Leonard’s Hospice. Nick was cared for in the hospice in the last weeks of his life and his family are now fundraising to buy two cuddle beds for the hospice in his memory. Having the availability of cuddle beds will allow family/friends the ability to be close to their loved ones in those moments that matter so much. 💙 Cuddle beds are specialist hospital beds which are incredibly expensive to buy, the hospice don’t have any yet so they’re really looking forward to receiving them. We’re all very excited that so far collectively we have raised enough to secure the 1st bed, now it’s on to the 2nd 💙 Thank you so much, Darcey xXx
