Dennis King Electrical celebrates half century with charity raffle.

Dennis King Electrical celebrated its 50th anniversary with a raffle to raise funds for St Leonard’s Hospice and Dementia Forward.

Tony Miller, Director at Dennis King Electrical Ltd, said: “St Leonard’s Hospice is an organisation that supports both patients and relatives at the most difficult of times. The compassion, empathy and personal touch shown by all involved is a shining example of all the people who work there.

“Anyone who has either paid a visit to or had a family member or friend pass through the doors of the Hospice would wish to assist in fundraising to ensure this amazing facility is available to others.  We are proud to offer our support and share the proceeds of our 50th anniversary charity fundraising raffle with the Hospice. Thank you for all that you do and long may it continue.”

Prizes were kindly donated by some of their suppliers including Edmundson Electrical, City Electrical Factors, LEW Electrical Supplies, AB Electrical Supplies, Sunley & Co Accountants, Strathmore Services H&S Advisors, Heworth Golf Club and Artisan Project Management.

The raffle raised £1,000 which has been split between the Hospice and Dementia Forward.

Caitlin Hazell, Partnerships Team Leader, St Leonard’s Hospice, added: “We’re so grateful to Dennis King Electrical for helping to raise much-needed funds. The support from businesses like Dennis King Electrical enables the Hospice to continue to provide palliative care and support for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Every pound raised makes a difference. We also congratulate them on their wonderful 50-year anniversary!”
