Hi all, As you all know three years after receiving a diagnosis of Neuroendocrine Cancer we lost Pauline; a loss that we are all struggling to come to terms with and which created a void that will never be filled. It's hard to describe Pauline as she was so many things to so many people, but no one will ever be able to forget her loving nature, generosity and the kindness she showed all. Although nothing will be the same without her here, we all feel incredibly lucky to have been able to spend time with this amazing woman. During her three year battle with Neuroendocrine Cancer St. Leonard's Hospice played an integral role in Pauline's care, providing not only medical and holistic treatments, but also provided a support network which proved itself to be a huge comfort to us all. More than that, the genuine care shown by each and every member of staff not only during her many medical admissions but also afterwards truly helped her extend her 6 month prognosis. Towards the end they worked tirelessly to ensure that her death was peaceful, and free of suffering; something which all of us will never be able to thank them enough for. Pauline's final wish was that all flower money was donated to St. Leonard's Hospice, in order to ensure that they continue their fantastic in the years ahead for the thousands of families who will need their. We will always love and miss you, Mum. But instead of being devastated by your loss we will be thankful for our limited time with you, and hope that wherever you are you're at peace. Xxx
