Duncan Haswell.

Duncan was born in Sunderland and was an avid Sunderland AFC supporter.   He was married to Alison whom he met at school in Sunderland and they have two children, Ruby 15 years old and Toby 12.   He was a true Northener and returned to live in York in 2007 having completed a degree at Manchester University and then having worked and lived in London for 25 years.   In 2010 he was diagnosed with a brain tumour and died in the Hospice 19 months later.   Duncan was a very special son, husband, father and friend. Not a day goes by without his family feeling his loss and remembering him with much love and affection.   We are setting up this Tribute to help remember a man deeply loved and as a way of thanking the amazing team at the Hospice who helped look after Duncan and his family with such dignity and care. We would also like to thank all our friends and family who have helped us raise all this money - we couldn't have done it without you.
